Elton John launched a foul-mouthed rant at security guards who were trying to stop fans dancing on their seats at the weekend.
Fans said they believed the well-known family-man was so angered by the over-zealous behaviour that he finished his act without saying goodbye or playing an encore.
Elton, 69, was performing for 17,000 people at Leicestershire County Cricket Ground, on Saturday, as part of a 65–date tour to promote his album Wonderful Crazy Night.
